  1. RefinancePro¬ will help you calculate the feasibility of refinancing your current loan. 
  2. The window can be moved by clicking and holding the mouse button down when the cursor displays a hand. This does not follow Apple guidlines, but I like it.

  4. Current Loan

  6. Enter your current loan balance, interest rate and the number of months left.
  7.  
  8. New Refinance
  9. -------------
  10. Next enter the information on your refinance loan: new loan balance, interest rate and number of months.
  11. Enter the total costs involved in refinancing such as loan fees, appraisals, discount points, etc.

  13. Calculate Button

  15. Press the Calculate button or press the return or enter key.
  16. Under the Current Loan information heading your current payment should be displayed in the Payment field. If this payment is incorrect double check to make sure you have entered the loan information correctly. Remember to enter your current information not what your the original information.

  18. Under the New Refinance heading will be displayed your new payment amount.

  26. Months to Recoup

  28. This calculation takes your total loan costs and divided by the payment difference to determine how many months will it take to recoup your loan costs with the savings in payment amount from your current loan.
